Inspects products manufactured or processed to ensure compliance with contract specifications by performing the following duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Examines First Article of Inspections to secure such information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.
Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with customer requirements.
Performs audit of operator's hourly checks to ensure compliance.
Performs end lot sequential sampling and layer checks for extrusion.
Complies with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Performs special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.

Education and/or Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
